    Three Delicious Tailgating Recipes

Game day means something different to everyone. We all cheer for a different city, or show our team spirit in our own unique ways. However, no matter how you celebrate football season, there is one universal game day activity we all love: eating... and tailgating! Here are a few tailgating recipes to try this season:

    Vinegar Brined Baby Back Ribs
Finger food like ribs is perfect for the party. Everyone in your crew will love these fall-off-the-bone baby backs dripping in homemade barbecue sauce. Don't let the phrase "homemade sauce" deter you, though. These are easy to prepare!

    1 cup apple cider vinegar
    4 cups water
    2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons freshly cracked black pepper
    10 garlic cloves, smashed
3 pounds baby back ribs, silver skin removed, racks cut in ½
    ½ bottle beer
1 yellow onion, peeled and quartered

    BBQ Sauce:
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    ½ cup yellow onion
    1 tablespoon minced serrano pepper
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    1 tablespoon minced ginger
    2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    2 cups raspberries, frozen
    1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam

    Light and Layered Taco Dip
Yes, tailgating can be diet friendly. This light and layered taco dip uses turkey instead of beef but still serves up plenty of zesty punch.

1½ pounds ground raw turkey breast
1 jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
1 1-ounce envelope reduced-sodium taco seasoning mix, divided
2 8-ounce packages reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), softened
    2 16-ounce cans fat-free refried beans
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 avocados, halved, seeded, peeled and mashed
    ½ cup light sour cream
    ½ cup light mayonnaise
2 cups reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
    ½ cup chopped green onion
½ cup halved grape or cherry tomatoes
½ cup sliced mini red, yellow and orange sweet peppers
