    4 Labor Day Recipes - Don't Wait Til the Last Minute!

Labor Day is a chance to reminisce about all your days in the sun and make a toast to one of the best summers yet. Whether you plan to host a large gathering or you prefer a more intimate affair, we’ve got all the cookout recipes you’ll need to make this Labor Day one to remember. Before you know it, summer will be gone and fall will be in full swing, so don’t delay! Look through these picnic recipes and choose your favorites to put on the menu this year!


    1. Ultimate Pineapple Burger

    This tropical twist on a classic burger is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer! Pineapples replace your buns and you’ll rejoice at the tangy flavor sensation!


    1 lb. ground beef

    1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Kosher salt

    Freshly ground black pepper

    8 pineapple rings

    1 large red onion, sliced into rings

    4 slices pepper jack

    4 pieces romaine

    8 slices bacon, cooked

    1. In a large bowl, mix together beef and Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper. Form 4 patties.

    2. Grill patties, pineapple and red onion over medium-high heat for 3 minutes on each side, until lightly charred.

    3. Top burger patties with pepper jack and cover the grill for 1 minute, until the cheese melts.

    4. Layer the burger on top of one piece of pineapple, add toppings and cover with the remaining pineapple pieces. Repeat until all 4 burgers are made.


    2. Caprese Salad

    If you’re grilling this Labor Day weekend, you’ll definitely want to have something fresh alongside the heartier dishes, and this yummy salad is one of the simplest light dishes you can add to your menu.


    2 large tomatoes, thickly sliced

    2 (1 pound) mozzarella balls, thickly sliced

    4 fresh basil leaves


    Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

    1. Arrange tomato and mozzarella on a plate, alternating between slices.

    2. Tear fresh basil leaves and toss them on top of the tomato and cheese, then sprinkle with salt and drizzle olive oil on top.


    3. Grilled Ranch Potatoes

    This is perhaps the most genius way to make potatoes. This simple recipe will be your go-to side from now on!


    2 lb. baby potatoes, halved

    1/4 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

    Juice of 1/2 a lemon

    1/2 packet ranch seasoning

    Kosher salt

    Freshly ground black pepper

    Ranch dressing, for drizzling

    Chopped fresh chives, for garnish

    1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

    2. In a large bowl, toss together potatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, ranch seasoning, salt and pepper.

    3. Thread potatoes on skewers and grill about 15 minutes, until lightly charred.

    4. Drizzle with ranch and top with fresh chives.



    4. Cheddar Bacon Ranch Corn

    Corn on the cob is a summertime favorite, but kick it up a notch with this fun and tasty twist! After trying this recipe, your friends and family will never want regular corn on the cob again!

    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

    1 packet ranch seasoning

    Freshly ground black pepper

    10 ears corn

    2 cup shredded Cheddar

    6 slices cooked bacon, finely crumbled

    Freshly chopped chives

    Ranch, for drizzling

    1. Start by heating the grill to medium high heat.

    2. In a bowl, stir together butter, ranch seasoning and pepper. Rub ranch butter on cobs of corn.

    3. Grill corn about 10 minutes, until lightly charred. Top with cheddar and cover the grill for 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

    4. Top with cooked bacon and drizzle with ranch.
